24 hours Yoga Piano Concert with Esh Loh

The pianist and composer Esh Loh will play the first 24-hour concert in Kufstein from 21-23 July 2023 as the highlight of the yoga.days in Kufsteinerland. It will be an unforgettable concert experience where you can feel the unity of silence and music while lying or sitting relaxed. The aim of this unique performance is to experience the universal beauty and truthfulness of human consciousness. This experience of consciousness allows you to directly experience your own aliveness and can lead to deep insights and realisations.

The 24-hour concert will take place at the Kufstein Music School and is divided into smaller slots of 90 minutes each. It will begin on Saturday, 22 July at 2 pm and end on Sunday, 23 July at 2 pm. The audience can participate in one or more concert sets at any even time 14/16/18 etc. Admission is 15 minutes before each hour. At night it is possible to sleep in the concert hall to the healing sounds. Last admission is at 22:00. Don't forget your yoga mat, sleeping bag and pillow. The entire concert will be streamed live worldwide. The Yoga Piano Sound Bath will be the oasis of calm for the Yoga Days Kufsteinerland.

Facts!This two-hour and very special kick-off session, led in the style and tradition of Jivamukti with musical accompaniment by Nana Dakini, is designed to introduce participants to an intensive yoga weekend.

In the tradition of Jivamukti, we always set a small intention at the beginning of our classes. For the current yoga class, but in this case maybe also for the upcoming weekend?

We always work with Nada - sound, vibration, sound. For this kick-off session, this means that I will again be working with the wonderful Nana, who will add even more depth and intensity to the session with live music.

Those who know Jivamukti love the dynamic and varied flows, of course always rounded off with savasana and a little meditation. The focus for the opening class could be the Vishudda Chakra - expression, speech, communication, listening, but also listening.

At the end of the session, we can hopefully answer the question "What is yoga?" for ourselves as my teacher Sharon Gannon used to describe it: "Yoga is the state, where you are missing nothing."

Facts!Ecstatic Dance is so many things... Prayer and meditation, warm community feeling, playful exploration, emotional release, a wild celebration and simply letting go and flow. Whatever it is for you at the moment and wherever it takes us together: be invited to let everything you feel and what moves you flow into your dance. It doesn't matter what it looks like... let's roll on the floor, jump, be crazy, celebrate, laugh, moan, cheer, cry, just be fully with ourselves and in the moment....

There are no guidelines or techniques, just be invited to give an immediate authentic expression to everything that can be felt and experienced in you right now... let yourself go... let yourself go... connected... immediate, flowing... sexy... angry, insecure, sad, inhibited... introverted, exploding, deep breathing... joyful, funny, relaxed.... deep sensual feeling... releasing the head... letting go of judgement.... ecstasy and euphoria.... letting the body take over... surrender...

Our intention is to create a trusting and open space for all of this. In order for this to really work, there are a few rules (e.g. our event is substance-free and mutual respect is very important) and a clear and guided process: we start with a common opening circle and end with a common closing circle with musical accompaniment by Yann Kuhlmann.

Facts!This Forrest Yoga unit focuses especially on the shoulder-neck area. The intelligently structured sequence works with a relaxed neck and shows compensation patterns and alternatives. Pranayama and initial warm-up exercises are followed by sun salutations and standing asanas after activating the abdominal muscles. Warming down and a subtle final relaxation round off the class. Find out how you can adapt the poses to your own physical conditions and how different the practice can feel without full use of the neck muscles. Many of the exercises can also be incorporated into everyday life: For a strong back, relaxed shoulders and more ease in the neck.

Facts!The workshop is for all those who are looking for an introduction to handstand or have already started practising handstand. The first part of the workshop serves to warm up the body and to learn exercises that strengthen the torso. This part also serves as preparation for all inversion postures. Certain exercises will increase your awareness of anatomically correct postures, which are crucial for better stability in handstand.

In the second part I will continue the work on a strong and conscious posture and will illuminate more advanced exercises that are important for handstand. In this workshop you will receive the necessary tools to continue practicing on your own.

"Heyam Dukham Anagatam" (Future suffering can be avoided) says Patanjali in the Yoga Sutra.

Often our body sends out warning signals at a very early stage when we overstrain ourselves. Just as often, we ignore these warning signals with vehemence. We do not take the time to feel into our body.

This is exactly where Restorative Yoga comes in. We give ourselves and our body permission to do NOTHING for a certain period of time. We put it into comfortable positions that we hold for a long time, we support it with blankets, bolsters and pillows. Our autonomic nervous system comes to rest and can trigger certain self-healing processes.

Restorative yoga is suitable for everyone - whether you have a very active yoga practice and are looking for balance or whether you have no experience with yoga at all!

It works specifically on the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower back. Deep restorative work improves mobility and joint flexibility, reduces pain and the effects of stress (insomnia, weight gain, high blood pressure, allergies, anxiety). This practice is designed to restabilise the nervous system and release deep-seated tensions in body and mind. External stimuli (light, sounds, muscular tension) are consciously reduced, only a few positions are practised but held for a very long time so that the body can completely relax and let go on a very subtle level.

Facts!The focus in this session is on supporting our digestion, supporting the liver and stimulating the metabolism. We practice a special form of Vinyasa yoga here, activating the centres in the body that specialise in detoxification. This class is like an inner cleansing for body and soul. We practice asanas that have a detoxifying effect and practise purifying pranayama. I am delighted from the bottom of my heart!
